Depression and Anxiety

His eyes are down, Her’s are up
He takes notes, She gives feelings
He curls his back, She fiddles her fingers
He says it’s done, She says what’s next
He refuses to stand, She won’t lie down
He smells anger, She touches fear
He needs to drive, She needs to stay
He needs a moment, She needs it to be over
They both cry.
His embrace makes her calm, Her smile makes him hopeful
They are not opposites, 
but now and then
Always and Forever.
